A rare opportunity to acquire a very long established and highly profitable imported furniture retail business with two excellent retail sites within Mallorca. Despite its considerable success, there is still considerable scope for further
development through internet sales and/or the establishment of further sites
both within the island of Mallorca and elsewhere in Spain.

The principal retail site is located within a highly desirable area on the outskirts of the centre of the city of Palma, close to the port. The shop occupies a highly visible corner position on a busy road and comprises 240m2 of retail area on the ground floor with toilets and office/store room. To the lower ground floor there is 200m2 of additional space, which the present owners use as storage, but which is ideal for additional retail space.

In addition to the sale of furniture, the present owners also operate a ladies fashion business from the shop which does not comprise part of the business being sold, purchasers of the business can however maintain a portion of the retail space allocated to the sale of clothes which the current vendor is willing to supply.

Whilst some of the current furniture lines are sourced within Europe, the majority are imported by our clients directly, principally from India and Indonesia. Full assistance initially and if desired on an ongoing basis will be provided by our clients in maintaining and developing supplier relationships.


The second site is located a short drive outside of Palma within an area that has become known as a furniture shopping destination and comprise of a modern unit with circa 125m2 of retail space to the ground floor with a further 125m2 split across mezzanine and first floor.

The Palma premises are held on a renewable 10 year lease with rent which is inflation linked at a highly competitive â?¬2200 per month. The second shop again is on 10 year lease at a monthly rent of â?¬1500.

There is a separate warehouse facility a short drive from both shops at a rent of â?¬600 per month.
