BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
The company was founded in 1987 with 9 employees and has grown to 105 employees today. The facility is a total of 16,500 sq ft. of manufacturing, office and warehouse space on a large, paved lot. Additional storage space of 3,800 sq. ft. is leased and is directly across the street from the main
facility.Raw materials are stored at this location. Branded Corn & Flour Tortillas of various sizes and flavors are manufactured and distributed to restaurants, supermarkets and independent stores. Approximately 70% of sales are to restaurants and 30% to stores. There are approximately 722 customers, which consist of restaurants, grocery stores, school districts, and miscellaneous smaller stores. The owners have taken the products in a healthy direction with no preservatives or chemical additives and zero trans fat. Specialty Tortilla products include spinach, sun dried tomato, whole wheat, chipotle, low carb, chocolate, red chile, garlic, herb, cilantro, jalapeno, and margarina (a margarine flavored tortilla). The manufacturing equipment is continually being upgraded and serviced to bring the facility up to date, increasing productivity without losing the products unique taste. The company has grown and continues to grow in the current economic downturn. Prospectus Available. Contact Arnie Lakeyn, The Paragon Group, 480-776-5831, 602-316-8712 cell, alakeyn@yahoo.com.
